I've read two of the stories in this collection and I'm loving them。 Each author brings heart-warming tales for us to read。The two stories I've read are Braver With You by Jaycee Weaver, and I Take You by Marion Ueckermann。Here are just a few words about these two books:Braver With You -Have you ever had fear so strong that it keeps you locked from doing things? Has it crippled you and changed your whole life? Something happened in Ashlyn’s life when she was young and she hasn’t been able to get past it。 It also had a ripple effect on many people in her life。 Now she’s trying to rise above it。Braver With You is a beautiful story of love, relationships, and battling fears。 This author knows how to bring out all the feelings and make this story soar。 Jaycee Weaver is a wonderful author who spins beautiful stories。 Whenever I pick up one of her books I’m blessed。 I Take You -When things don’t go the way you think they should, do you give up, or do you find a new way? Do you remember that God is right there with you, helping you through what feels like an overwhelming situation? He is and He will care for you。 This is what Kaia and Leo learn。In this sweet story of love and dreams, written by Marion Ueckermann, we find two people with a deep love for each other。 When they come upon a ripple in their plans, they reach out to each other and draw in strength from God。 The author’s choice of words and descriptions were captivating and held me spellbound。I highly recommend you pick up this collection of stories。I was given these books by the author which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own。 。。。more

My review is for One Vow for September by Liwen Y。 Ho。 I totally enjoyed reading this work-place romance。 The main characters are great, a little snarky to start with and then exchanging enjoyable banter once they get to know one another a little better。 Their faith helps develop the characters, giving them more depth。 They get in a lot of humorous situations as they work together impersonating a married couple renewing their vows。 There's a wonderful HEA for this couple。 I would highly recommen My review is for One Vow for September by Liwen Y。 Ho。 I totally enjoyed reading this work-place romance。 The main characters are great, a little snarky to start with and then exchanging enjoyable banter once they get to know one another a little better。 Their faith helps develop the characters, giving them more depth。 They get in a lot of humorous situations as they work together impersonating a married couple renewing their vows。 There's a wonderful HEA for this couple。 I would highly recommend this story to romantic comedy readers, clean/wholesome romance readers, and to Christian romance readers。 I hope to read more from this author。 。。。more

This review is for One Vow for September by Liwen Ho for which I received an ARC。 This is a delightful book written from both viewpoints of the two leading characters。 Tristan had almost married, and September had never married。 Both are "fortyish" and worked for the same magazine。 Seemingly not even the least attracted to each other, they find themselves paired together on a project in which they must pose as a husband and wife about to celebrate a renewal of their vows。 It was fascinating to w This review is for One Vow for September by Liwen Ho for which I received an ARC。 This is a delightful book written from both viewpoints of the two leading characters。 Tristan had almost married, and September had never married。 Both are "fortyish" and worked for the same magazine。 Seemingly not even the least attracted to each other, they find themselves paired together on a project in which they must pose as a husband and wife about to celebrate a renewal of their vows。 It was fascinating to watch how the dynamics played out。 Ordinarily, I haven't particularly liked books written in the first person, but his one was terrific。 It is a clean, wholesome, and entertaining book which I highly recommend。 。。。more

I Take You by Marion Ueckermann is the most delightful contemporary Christian novel that will leave you feeling good and smiling。 It is part of the Save The Date Anthology。The leading lady has always dreamed of a fairy tale wedding until she learns of a terrible secret and then her priority changes。 Weddings are less about spending vast sums of money on one day and much more about the years that follow。 Sometimes it is the simplest things that are the most magical。There is the theme of forgivene I Take You by Marion Ueckermann is the most delightful contemporary Christian novel that will leave you feeling good and smiling。 It is part of the Save The Date Anthology。The leading lady has always dreamed of a fairy tale wedding until she learns of a terrible secret and then her priority changes。 Weddings are less about spending vast sums of money on one day and much more about the years that follow。 Sometimes it is the simplest things that are the most magical。There is the theme of forgiveness。 Sometimes in life our hurt and pain runs deep。 We cannot forgive in our own strength but need to lean on God and His strength in order to forgive。 If we withhold forgiveness we risk becoming bitter and then dwelling in the land of regret。 We must forgive because we have been forgiven。Marion Ueckermann has created a wonderful set of characters who are realistically flawed and likable。 We can empathise with a character who struggles with forgiveness as we ‘feel’ the emotional tugs。As well as teaching us godly lessons, the story is highly amusing at times。 Who can forget the antics of an Alpaca called Mr Darcy at a wedding and also the choice of bridal footware?I Take You is a perfectly charming read that will warm your heart and soul。I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author。 All views expressed are only my honest opinion。 。。。more

It's such a joy to be part of this project with so many authors I admire。 I'm looking forward to sharing Braver With You, which is the October book in our year of weddings anthology。 Childhood sweethearts Ashlyn and Conrad are well on the way to their long-awaited Big Day, but getting there won't be easy。 A big announcement, a controlling mother, and old trauma bring up a host of things they'll have to overcome together first。 Check back frequently to hear more from the other authors in our set! This is a review for "One Vow for September"。It's a sweet short read, full of witty puns and banter。 The chemistry between the two lead characters was believable, though I felt like the timeline in which they fell in love was a bit fast。 However, considering the length of the novella it does make sense and it doesn't detract from how well written it was。 Also loved the small inclusions of some Chinese culture/language aspects。 It's great to read if you need something light-hearted that brings yo This is a review for "One Vow for September"。It's a sweet short read, full of witty puns and banter。 The chemistry between the two lead characters was believable, though I felt like the timeline in which they fell in love was a bit fast。 However, considering the length of the novella it does make sense and it doesn't detract from how well written it was。 Also loved the small inclusions of some Chinese culture/language aspects。 It's great to read if you need something light-hearted that brings you hope and feelings of sweetness。(I was given an ARC and this is my voluntary, honest review) 。。。more

One Vow for September by Liwen Ho - She is writing a story on couples renewing their wedding vows and he volunteers to be her fake husband。 This story was so funny and romantic at the same time。 She has a boyfriend that will not commit and he has an ex that has him jaded on love。 Sparks fly literally。 Loved the ending。

I enjoyed One Vow for September by Liwen Ho。 So much so that I'll be scouting out more books by her! I love the humor & witty banter she incorporated between September & Tristan when they were practically forced to work on a project together by their boss。 They had to pretend to be married in order to make the magazine article about renewing ones' vows on a budget more believable。 I also loved that they are both in their 40's which made this more appealing to me。 Both September & Tristan are d I enjoyed One Vow for September by Liwen Ho。 So much so that I'll be scouting out more books by her! One Vow For September Review:September and Tristan are coworkers who never really talk much until they get assigned to work together pretending they are married。 One Vow For September was a cute sweet short story that you can easily read in a small time frame, while waiting at a doctor, picking up kids from school, or in between classes。 While I do wish there was more to the story (it would make an AMAZING full length book on its own), it had enough detail and history that it seemed to work out。 One Vow For September Review:September and Tristan are coworkers who never really talk much until they get assigned to work together pretending they are married。 One Vow For September was a cute sweet short story that you can easily read in a small time frame, while waiting at a doctor, picking up kids from school, or in between classes。 While I do wish there was more to the story (it would make an AMAZING full length book on its own), it had enough detail and history that it seemed to work out。 Fake relationship books are my absolute favorite and this is a definite cute one to check out。 This is a box set and I only had the chance so far to read this one story from it。 Once I have the full book after release day I will update to include reviews for all of the stories。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 So far, I’ve only gotten to read “One Vow for September” by Liwen Y Ho。 It was a very hilarious and satisfying read。 A bit of a heads up, it’s about a couple in their 40’s。 They have known each other a few years, but never saw each other “in that light”。 What seemed like a random comment started them down a road of forever。 I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them, but this will one will definitely be at the top!
